About the piece: As many of the others, this logo design was just for practice to keep and enhance skills. Many times I do this to show how a logo looks in full color, spot color, as well as black and white or positive and negative space. Every logo should work in black and white. There are times a logo needs to be printed as a positive or negative object. That means the logo would be printed in either black, white or some other solid color. At times gradients cannot be used so the logo needs to be printed as solid colors. Preferably PMS specific colors so that the logo would come out the same color every time. There is CMYK full color printing which is when full color gradients and effects could be used.
