> Coffee Puck Roasters

About the piece: This is a spread from a project that was completely personal and for my portfolio and for practice. I wanted to show off some of my page layout skills using a favored subject. I have created the logo as if it would be my own coffee shop.

Where Coffee Puck came from is from the brewing process of espresso. Espresso is brewed using heat and the pressure of water through a portafilter basket. Once done, and releasing the portafilter from the machine, left in the basket is what many call a coffee puck because of it's hockey puck like shape.

The spread shows the front cover at the top, the back cover at the bottom and the inside fold is the middle. As if it is a single fold piece of literature about the roasting company. I at the present time just used filler text to complete the look.

This piece is only to show off my layout skills, but not a design piece for real production.

Although I am a photographer, I do not take credit for the photos used. They are not stolen photos, but are downloaded from a site called pexels.com where photos downloaded are free to use for production.
