> what's Next?

So this is a funny short story why it chose to call this NEXT. First off I thought of a letter than I wanted to make a logo design out of as simply a personal project. I chose to use the letter "N", to create some forms or shapes from it. I tried two shapes at first, but not quite as you see here, but then I saw something different as I have created it. I added some extra parts to these two shapes and rotated them a bit and then I saw the "N".

Originally the two shapes would together be the "N" as positive space, but what I saw later created the "N" shape as the negative space between the two positive shapes.

Why the world NEXT? First it was random, but then I remember a videogame magazine I once bought from the magazine rack of different stores. The magazine was called NEXT. So I thought NEXT was used as the name of something once. Not that this logo will be used for anything, but I pondered on what the world NEXT meant to me. These words came to mind: Moving forward, future, beyond, moving up, going beyond, what's ahead, increase, progress, build, making stronger, as well as others I'm sure I as well as some of you could think of.

What comes out of the world NEXT to me are positive things. So I can say that, I believe in NEXT.
